• Over this period, I trained school-age and professional players in Cuba, Mexico, Spain and in the United States of America, with great satisfaction and results on the part of my students.

• I kept an active participation in different programs for the teaching of chess in Cuban schools. I also took part of the chess teaching staff for the ¨University for All¨ Television Program in Cuba.

• I acted as a player at several simultaneous matches held to disseminate chess throughout Cuba, being one of them, a record of participation at worldwide level at the time.
